Oh how things have changed!
I am a retired FP who shared the view of the day when I went into general practice, that preservation of FFS was the key to the survival of that independence and rugged individualism of which which physicians were so proud. Government realized that it was almost impossible to control physicians without turning us into de facto civil servants and succeeded in this by seducing the profession with relatively generous plans and attractive promises. Now they have succeeded in their mission and are tightening the reins. Politicians and administridiots call the tune. What else could one have expected?
